Note: I don't recommend going on the trip to Hana with small children. It is a very long drive with a lot of twists and turns. As an alternative drive, you may want to drive up Haleakala and visit the dairy goat farm and Alii Lavendar gardens. Although this is an hour long drive, you can plan it at their nap time which makes it more do-able. Another alternative scenic drive is on the West Side of Maui up to the Nakele Blowhole on the North Side.
